I am trying to copy a file from a CD-ROM written on my system (Windows XP)
earlier and I get a message when trying to use Explore with the copy and
paste of the file from the CD to a folder on my hard disk. The message
happens during what appears to be the start of the paste operation. The
operation stops and the small message bos appears with the message "Cannot
copy (filename of file being copied): The parameter is incorrect."
This message only happens for a few of the many files that are on the CD.
Other files and be copied from the CD to the HD with no problem. The files I
am trying to restore to the HD are e-mail files containing messages from the
Mozilla e-mail application.
Any suggestion of information sources that might help me figure out what
this message means/implies would be appreciated. I am a intermetiate level
Windows user, but have not been able to get a clue as to what the message
means.
