Error Messages when Windows XP-Home starts

We had a computer that became infected to the point where we had to
re-install Windows XP/Home. Since that time, we have gotten the following
two error messages each time Windows starts:

The procedure entry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in the
dynamic link library wlanapi.dll

The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic
link library wlanapi.dll

Any ideas of how to correct these errors? ? ?

Download and install the latest drivers and software for your Wireless
Network Device(s) from the actual manufacturer of the device(s) web page(s).

Did you reinstall the drivers supplied by manufacturers, or your PC maker if
a large OEM, eg Dell/HP etc?
(NB do NOT use winupdate for drivers)
That file appears to be related to a network / Lan device
