Error Messages upon Startup/Can't delete icons?

I'm running windows xp and upon startup i get my regular
desktop icons. After the security center(mcafee) does
its thing I get unwanted icons that pop up(cant even
delete them from c drive) then the following appears:
C:\windows\system32\rundll32.vbe

Error: permission denied

Source: Microsoft vb script runtime error
also:
C:\windows\fonts\font.hta

code 0 Ive tried sysconfig/virus scan/deleting from
c drive/even installed troubleshooting....HELP
