Error messages and cannot use IE

I need help
I installed IE 6 about 6 mts ago and had no problem till
last week. I get an error box that pops up whenever I try
to load IE6. It states: "Internet Explorer has encountered
a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvience". When I click to see what data error report
contains it states: AppVer 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: ntdll.dll
Reporting details: This error report includes: information
regarding the condition of IE when the problem occured ...
which is part of the error report sent to Microsoft.
What I want to do is reload IE and get this to working
again. I don't like to use Netscape but that is my only
way to the web at present time. I have tried to download
IE6 but it states that it is still on my computer. I went
to add/delete in control panel and deleted IE but it still
states that it is on the computer.
I have even tried to download an earlier version to no
avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

I get the same error message but with a different module
name. I'm trying to see if anyone can help me out also.

Make sure your Virus definition table are up to date.

Check for parasites, on a window 98 system ntdll.dll should not be involved.

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
