Error Message

When opening or closing Word or Excel, I get a Microsoft Visual Basic error
that says: Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec

Any Suggestions?

I am having the same trouble and I have uninstalled and reinstalled office
and it still occurs.

I noticed that no one has responded to this request and it was posted two
months ago and frankly I'm getting the feeling that no one at microsoft cares
about their users and the frustrating crap that happens when using their
products. I guess there are so many errors that they try to curb the calls
by making them cost money. Or, profit from errors is what keeps their
shareholders happy. Sorry just a frustrated user trapped in the matrix.

First, there have been five responses to the original question and second,
this isn't a Microsoft support channel.
