error message

Error message 'explorer has caused an error in
Kernel32.dll. Explorer will now close'.I got this message
when I tried to download music tracks from the web and
again when I tried to open'Microsoft Security Update CD'.
Operating System is Windows Me using IExplorer 6.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Thanks Henri, I've done as you suggested and run both
AdAware and Spybot but this has not fixed the error.

It could be something else.

I got the same error 'explorer has caused an error in
Kernel32.dll. Explorer will now close' when I tried to go
to the www.colba.com site. Low disk space is not a problem.
Does this explain anything?
