I'm receiving the following error message when attempting
to access the internet using Internet Explorer 6.0.
'The instruction at "0x01349901" referenced memory
at "ox69642c93". The memory could not be "read".'

Microsoft Outlook Express running on the same computer is
able to access the internet. So the connection to the
internet seems fine.

Any thoughts?

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
