Error Message

when i am using explorer an error message pops up that
says: "this program has performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down. if the problem persists contact the
program vendor." when i click on the details button it
says:

sometimes another message comes up that says "an error has
occured in internet explorer. internet explorer will now
close. if you continue to experience problems, please
restart your computer."

can anyone tell me what this means or how to stop it from
happening?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
