Error message?

WinXP SP.2
I'm getting this message on startup that states:
one of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered
by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful.

Is there a way that I can correct this? Thank you!

Try System Restore, if the issue persists

start>run and type sfc /scannow

NOTE: Insert XP CD in the Drive
