Error message

I have installed Excel 2007 and some files are showing issues every time I
try to open them. The error message is:

One or more invalid names were detected in this workbook. Those invalid
names has been changed to #REF!.

How can avoid this annoying message?

Were these workbooks originally created in an earlier version?

Could be you have a defined name like KW1 or similar.

This would be valid in 2003 since IV1 is last column.

In 2007 KW1 would not be a valid name, but 2007 should throw up a message
that tells you it has changed the name to _KW1..............not the message
you are getting.

Check your defined names. Also could be that your names are referring to
workbooks/sheets that do not exist.
