Carlos

Every once in a while I get the following message:

MSBLNetConn: msmsgs.exe -- Application Error
The instruction at "0x68899a56" referenced memory
at "0x018b0424". The memory could not be "read". Click
on OK to terminate the program.

Problem: A) I do not know which program is attempting to
execute.
B) Could this message be the result of a faulty
memory chip? I just upgraded from Windows Me to XP
(clean install) and also doubled my memory from 256 to
512K.

Has anyone experienced a similar error message?
Thanks in advance.

The application is the Windows Messenger. The problem could be caused
by a faulty RAM chip or by incompatibilities between the old and the
new chips. However, this could also be caused by the upgrade as well.
You may want to reinstall Windows XP clean to find out, if the problem
persists here.
