Error message

When trying to scan document, I get a message of
msg_opends. Bummer error. Would appreciate any advice as
to how to fix.

Me too! I just encountered it today. Bummer error -- TELL ME! I've
been using my Epson scanner with Jasc PaintShopPro 7 for several
years, then TODAY it gives me this! Rebooted, restarted the scanner,
nothing helps.
