Shortly after signing in to My profile under Windows XP I
receive an error message "QAGENT.EXE (UNABLE TO LOCATE
COMPONENT ---- QWWIN.DLL

Have you recently un-installed Quicken or Quick Books,
that file is associated with both of those apps. It is
thier download agent and not really needed. You may find
it loading in your start up. Check it by using Msconfig,
see if it there, if it is, uncheck it.

This comes from the QuickBooks Agent. QuickBooks, like the rest of
Intuit's programs, is rather invasive and runs parts of itself at
startup without asking. Did you recently uninstall Quicken or
QuickBooks? In any case, go to Start>Run and type "msconfig" without
the quotes. Look for a likely entry in the Startup tab and untick the
box. Click Apply and OK and that should help.
