error message

I recently installed win xp home edit and When my wife logs on to her
identity I get a wordpad window labeled... desktop
[.shellclassinfo]
localizedresourceName=@%system root%\ssystem32\shell32dll,-21787

I close the window and all works OK. This started after I went into
msconfig to limit some start up items but I reset to normal boot (all items).
What is this message? How can I fix this?
