Error message

Each time I try to launch Windows Movie Maker, an error message displays and
the program shuts down. It has behaved like this since I bought my computer,
and I've never used the program once. I am running Windows XP Media Center
Edition 2005. Can anyone tell me of a way to re-install Windows Movie Maker?
I would really like to try out the program, just to see what all it is
capable of. Any help would be appreciated.
