Get the error message "Cannot import sys.reg. Error
opening the file. There may be a disk or file system
error." each time I log on. What to do?

I believe this is part of a trojan. Run regedit and look for

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
"sys"="regedit /s sys.reg

If the "sys" entry exist then I would delete it.

I have an entry that reads regedit -s sys.reg. Is this
the one I should delete?

Yes that is the one to delete. It will get rid of the error you are
getting.
