Why does MTLDR file is missing come up on my computer and
I have to shut it down to make is go away. It does this
if I let it set for an hour or so and not using it.
It says to push any key to continue but when I do that the
same message comes up again and again.

Do you have a floppy disk in your drive? If you're getting this Ntldr
missing error randomly and without a CD or floppy in a drive, expect your
hard drive to fail soon, possibly.
