Error Message Trying to Open Links In Outlook 2003

Any help would be really appreciated on this.

Within the last two days when I attempt to open a link that someone has sent
me in an email using Outlook 2003 I get the following error message:

"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator."

It seems to be that way in all of my Office 2003 programs. I tried to open a
link in Word and got the same message.

I haven't done anything to any security settings, at least as far as I know.

I did load Symantec Systemworks 2005, but that's all.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Oddly, I have had the exact same problem and did the exact same thing with
installing Norton Internet 2005 but I have removed it because of issues. The
three options to correct this problem were not available to me. As the one
resposne on that link said all three were not issues on his computer. WHat
are teh other options? Please advise, thanks.

Try this: Open IE and click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web
Settings. Now try Outlook again.

I also run Norton Systemworks 2005 and have had it installed on my computer
for some time.

With no changes I suddenly started getting the message "This operation has
been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact
your system administrator." when I clicked a link from Outlook 2003 emails.
I am the administrator.

I tried the suggestion of resetting the web settings in internet explorer
and it worked perfectly. The other suggestions in REGEDIT weren't available.

Thanks for the help.
