Error Message Trying to Import a Video File

I keep getting an error message that reads, "An interface has too many
methods to fire events from", every time i try to import a vidoe file into
the Windows Movie Maker. I managed to import a file once before. Why can i
do it again???

This happens if you try to import an unsupported format such as MPEG2.
Convert such clips to uncompressed AVI or DV AVI format using VirtualDubMod
(http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/).
