Hi there, finally making great strides ahead with my database for data entry
of paper based forms.
basic structure:
a number of tables linked by a single ID field.
tabbed forms each tab contains a subform that refers to a single form which
in turn enters data into one or more of the tables.

I can enter data into the first tab, but then get "The value cannot be
added to this new row until the row has been committed, commit the row first
and then try adding the value' appreaing in the botton status area."

sheesh. before I need to be committed, please help...thanks!

base each subform on just one table and this problem will probably go away
