I have two users who are unable to send an email to a particular recipient.
They receive a System Undeliverable return email with the following
explanation:

A configuration error in the recipients email address prevented delivery of
this message. Two recipients are configured with same email address.
Contact your administrator.
<servername.domain#5.1.4>

Thoughts or ideas.

Thank You

The recipient is on our domain.
The users are part of the domain as well

What is the Exchange configuration? How many servers? The two users who
can't send mail to this other recipient, how are they addressing the
message? What happens if they use OWA to send the mail?

We are dealing with two servers
There are addressing the message by the name in the address book, and we
have tried the SMTP name (e-mail address removed)

Have had users try to send from OWA and the same message is being returned.

Strictly speaking, if the users have the same problem in OWA, then it isn't
an Outlook issue anymore, but something more within the Exchange Server
itself, generally a replication issue. How many users total on each server
and which server are the problem users on (both the two who can't send and
the third who can't be sent to)?

Can an internet user send to this mailbox?
