Please could someone tell me what this means.

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Fw: next Monday', Account:
'mail.uk2.net', Server: 'mail.uk2.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B

It comes up after refusing to send my emails. (Receiving is ok.) I'm also
getting a Windows Security window popping up, asking for username and
password - but nothing changes when I enter these.

I have never activated Norton on my computer, and have recently deleted the
program entirely.

See point 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Use the Norton removal tool
to completely remove it and then remove your Mail account and close and
reopen WinMail and then add it back again.
