when I run certain programs ( Spybot, Ad-Aware and some others) I get a
error box that says. Windows - No Disc. There is no disk in the drive.
Please insert a disk into drive.

Disable scanning on FDD /optical drives, [you can do this in AD-Aware
with a custom scan]

I am having this same problem, but I don't have ad-aware on my computer
anymore...and it still comes up when I re-boot my computer and when trying to
download some drivers for a program I have. After I get to the point where
it tells me there is no disk in the drive, then I get another error message
saying that I need more space to download the drivers. But I have 270 GB of
space left in the main drive. I have 5 removable disks on the computer, but
I am not certain what they are for, I checked them and they all say full...I
don't know how to get rid of this error message.

Any suggestions?

When I boot up Window's XP I continue to get a pop-up window advising can
not find disc. I have to click on exit several times before the window closes
for good.
