error message - mscomctl.ocx

when starting my wife's profile - she has a windows user account - I keep
getting this error message: "mscomctl.ocx not correctly registered - a file
is missing or invalid". And, her access is a bit quirky and buggy. Anyone
know about this error message?

Try this:
Start>Run and type in without the quotes:
"regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\mscomctl.ocx"
and hit enter.
