when trying to download folders from account added

Hi Pooke,

The messages tell it all. Hotmail no longer support access from OE or
Outlook.
Go to MSN.com and you will see links to Hotmail and a Sign-in button to give
you access to your Hotmail inboxes.

Suggest you download and install the MSN Messenger which will give you one
click access to your hotmail account online as well as lots of other goodies
to keep you in contact with friends.
