error message help

[SFD]

I am trying to open add/delete programs in control panel and I get the following error message:

An unexpected error occurred
Object doesn't support this property or method
res://sp3res.dll/default.hta
line:82

Any idea on how I can resolve this error message? preferably without losing any data?

From the "Run" box try;
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\appwiz.cpl

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\webvw.dll
to rebuild several *.htt files

If unsuccessful try
sfc /purgecache
sfc /scannow

Or try the regedits described in;
