Error message: "Handle is invalid"

Hi,
I just did a complete clean install of my Windows XP MCE cause I had a problem with Vista RC1 and noticed that when I
try to print from Notepad.exe I get this message:
"Handle is invalid"

I can still print from MS Word, MS Works, Wordpad and MS Paint so it must be something to do with that program?

I just went to the Microsoft data base and found these answers but none of them apply to Notepad but am including them
in case they have something valuable:

Open the Properties window for the Notepad shortcut. Check the path in the
Target field, as it should point to either <drive
letter>\WINDOWS\system32\notepad.exe or <drive letter>\WINDOWS\notepad.exe
(<drive letter>\WINDOWS might be replaced with %SystemRoot% and that is
okay) and the Start in field should point to <drive letter>\WINDOWS\system32
or <drive letter>\WINDOWS
If the path is different than the above, edit it to point to the correct
path.

Your right Patti.
It was pointed to C:\I386 so just to be sure I reinstalled notepad per HP instructions and changed the path to
C:\windows.It now works.
