I was having trouble getting windows updates, I have it
on automatic but I just went in to see if there was
anything. Anyway it couldn't get anything saying I had
error 8024502D anyway went to suggested help and it gave
a few options which i tried but didn't work. Then there
was one to go into registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\current control
set\control\windows. then in right frame see key CSD
version. double click and change value to 0 then ok and
restart pc. I did all that then run update. it ran and
the update it said I needed was windows xp service pack
1. surely i don't need that as have sp2. i'm confused I
haven't done anything yet. should I go back into registry
and change the value back to what it was?
