Error loading Windows

I have downloaded and installed all the latest Windows
critical updates etc. Ever since, when I start the
computer, I get the following error message:
Rundll.
Error loading Windows\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll.
The specified module could not be found.

When I hit the OK button, Windows starts and I do not
seem to have any further problems, but I am wondering
what causes this.

Also, since I installed the updates, my customised
taskbar does not stay as I want it, but reverts to the
default, and also has an unwanted 'search the web"
toolbar. How do I get the taskbar to stay as I have
customised it?

Be sure your antivirus software is up to date and run a virus scan on your
system. Also check for any malware that might be the source of the issue,
download, install and run Ad Aware:

I have run Norton Anitvirus, AdWaware and Spybot, which
removed some files; however the computer is still looking
for bridge.dll at startup.
Also my customised taskbar does not stay as I want it,
