error loading the Data provider in vb

i am running a small vb / vba macro imbeded in a report to
update an oracle database -- at times (%70) i get the
error above when connecting to an oracle data sourse to
update a table.
I am using the microsoft ODBC for oracle driver

can anyone help with this intermitant problem, as it is
completly stumping me

This is a Microsoft Vb.Net language newsgroup maybe there is an Oracle
newsgroup for this question
