Error loading newdev.dll

After adding a bunch of MS updates, I now get a rundll
error: "Error loading newdev.dll. Invalid access to
memory location".

It seems to happen sporadically, with no rhyme or reason.
I can't find any relevant info on MS or by Googling.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks!

I got a few links on Google, don't know why you didn't. Try the search
term, "error loading newdev.dll". From a quick look, try reinstalling
your videocard drivers.

newdev.dll does not have anything specific to do with your video card drivers. This is a system file that is provided by Microsoft, I'd recommend you try an SFC scan or if that doesn't work you could try a system repair.
