Error Loading Microsoft Anti-Spyware (error 103)

I have used the this program on a lot of other computers
to clean up spyware issues, but this one computer I am
trying to put it on is having problems. I get through the
install just fine, but after the install is done and it
tries to open I get critical error 103, and I haven't seen
any posts about this error. Any help?? Thanks!!

I'm experiencing the same issue, it doesn't cause it to
send and auto error report. I just get a box
saying 'Error 103 restart and if you're still haveing
problems contact (e-mail address removed)'
they pointed me here becuase i'm trying to install the MS
Beta program and not their paid program. I installed the
same DL on several W2K pc's and only 1 gave me this error.

any help would be appreciated, it shows the bullseye in
the task tray but you cannot open or scan without getting
the error.

TIA
Rob

Apparently it is a permisions issue, ensure that you are logged on with

Error 103

I discovered the Windows 2000 permissions on the C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware folder had neither Allow or Deny checked when I was getting the 103 error.

Checking the Full Control - Allow box enabled the program to function properly.

I found the same permissions issue with the ewido installation.

No other folders seem to exibit the anomaly.
