does anyone know what this message has to do with "error
loading c:\windows\image.dll
specified module could not be found"

i get this message at start up. thanks for the help

It appears that some program you installed (and later
uninstalled) left some files (image.dll inclusive) and

Use a registry cleaner (or regedit if you feel safe enough

definitely not a Windows file and some spyware and viruses evidently use a
file by that name.

If you've ever loaded the CDRW program called Nero it could be the source of the image.dll. It is NOT spyware/a worm/virus/etc. If you don't have or use Nero you can just delete the offending dl
