error in KB article 313669

This KB article is incorrect. It states to find the
HPLJ6.inf file in the Printers\NT4\I386 folder on the NT
4.0 CD to install the printer driver for XP. #1, there
is no Printers folder on the NT 4.0 CD. There is only:
Alpha, Drvlib, I386, Langpack, MIPS, PPC, and Support
folders. Also the HPLJ6.inf file does not exist anywhere
on the 4.0 CD.

I'm trying to figure out why my HP4si MX printer prints a
blank page after every successful printed page on my XP
machines. I also have 98 machines that print with no
problem in my network. HP has been no help, and I came
across the above article while researching another
problem. The above article gave me a glimmer of hope,
but alas the Microsoft tech that wrote the article was
smoking a little too much at the time it was written.

Has anyone else had problems like this, and found any
solutions that actually work?

Check your general printer dialogue settings and see if
there is a box that is checked for "insert blank page."
It might be that simple.

In the printer properties look for something like "Form feed at end of
job" and toggle that.
