I had an e-mail that was sitting in my outbox. It will not delete, It will
not send. It will not do anything even after 'flagging' it to disappear.
NOw....when I send an e-mail..they stay in the outbox, and even on
highlighting the e-mail...it APPEARS to send to recipient, but doesn't
really. I can receive e-mails, but something is blocking my send e-mails. I
think that e-mail that will not go away is blocking any transmissions to the
outside. HELP...I NEED MY E-MAIL...as we all do.

I have this problem - please tell me how to resolve it

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common
antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
tend to cause such problems, although seldom immediately, so if you
have such a program, remember where to find the fix and hope it
will work again. A recent version of the Trend antivirus program
also causes assorted problems in Windows Mail.

Thanks for your feedback. I normally add the phrase "It works for all folders"
when the OP mentions a folder other than Outbox, but I should include that
addition every time since more people than the original OP will be reading
the solution, and they may have other folders involved.

I feel like 'I have people'. <smile> Anyway, to all that suggested to
download the fix..........IT WORK!!! THANKS A BUNCH. Now I can go on being an
e-mail junkie.
