Error from Crosstab Reports

I have several report based on crosstab queries. Each has
a parameter prompting for a date. However, all of a sudden
I am getting this error:

This expression is typed incorrectly, or is too complex to
be evaluated. For example a numeric expression contain too
many complicated elements. Try simplifying the expression
by assigning parts of the expression to variables.

What do I need to?
