error - document already open

i am trying to run a macro from a toolbar i created, but i get an erro
message as follows.

a document with the name < name of workbook > is already open. yo
cannot open 2 documents with the same name even if they are i
different folders.

i do not have 2 instances of the file open, i have tried restarting th
machine and starting excel all over again but i get the same message.

i am using windows xp and excel 200

The macro button is trying to open a workbook- possibly the one you hav
open or one with the same name that contains the macros.

I would suggest changing the name of the workbook containing the macro
and re-creating the toolbar link to the macro.

i dont have any other file open, nor does any other file have the sam

I've just been testing all the possibles here and all I can do to ge
that error is open a workbook with the same name as the macro workboo
then click the toolbar button.

I really do think the best thing to do is remove the button an
recreate it.
