Error deleting files or folders

There are times when I try to delete a file or folder
that I get the message "Cannot delete folder xxx: It is
being used by another person or program" Same with some
files. There is nothing else running. It happens
sporadically with files and folders. If I log out and
back in, I can delete them. It's not critical but it is
a real nuisance.

I'm running Win XP Pro, SP1
