Error compacting is 'AOIndex' not an index in this table??

I am compacting my Datatbase , I receive the error above and all my forms and
reports are gone. I have a backup copy and each time I do this, same result.
I checked all the indexes. I think perhaps it is in reference to the security
information workgroup file I am using. I am not sure how to check the indexes
on it. Appreciate any assistance that I can get. thanks

That is a sign of corruption.

You can try compacting with Jetcomp on a copy of your database.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to create a new database and import all
the objects. You'll need to resecure it as the import won't bring the
permissions with the objects.
