Toshiba laptop and getting this error. Device Mgr. shows
a yellow exclamation mark with error or

Go into the BIOS of the machine and reserve IRQ 11

How old is the laptop? Check Toshiba site whether they have BIOS update and
or FAQ section. Did you install all the drivers and SP4? Try PCMCIA card of
another brand. Disable in the BIOS all the hardware you don't use. Last
resort - reinstall Windows with Standard HAL or forget about PCMCIA NIC )
