Error code 0x80070005 on startup

Greetings,

When I boot up the PC and it brings me to the log in screen, I enter in the
username and password to authenticate. It then brings a "Validation Error"
and gives me a 0x80070005 error code and it won't let me in. What's the
deal? How can I fix this problem?

s this a home or office computer? Is the computer standalone or
networked?

What are your anti-virus and anti-spyware arrangements?

Are there other users on the computer and if yes are they having the
same problem?
