I have a user who is getting the following error while
closing a database; Microsoft Access can't delete \\[Path]
\[Path\[database].mdb after compacting it. The compacted
database has been named \\[Path]\[Path\db1.mdb.
I have found that for some reason the properties for the
attributes for this file gets changed "File is ready for
archiving". If I delete the db1.mdb and reset the
attributes so that the "File is ready for archiving" box
is unchecked, she can get in. And she can save, but the
next time in it is checked again and we have the same
problem.
The same user can log into another machine and not have
any problems. So I am thinking this might be a windows
problem, however, it could be as simple as my having the
software set up incorrectly. Has anyone seen this?
