error, "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Out

This has been an ongoing problem now for a few days. I click all shortcut and
direct icons and this same message appears.
Outlook starts to open, and then closes and then this error message appears.

I have tried the online repair feature, the disck repair feature, the "add
and remove programs" repair feature. I have even re-installed Office 2007 and
to no avail, still the same error.

I have moved up to "Windows Live Mail" but there are some created folders
that I cannot retrieve...
I was wondering if there is a fix for this error, and if not, then is there
a way to retrieve lost folders?
I have 99% of folders retrieved, but there is still a couple manually
created folders that are floating ou there in MSN space...

HELP...if you can..

Tried start Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch already?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /resetnavpane
