Error C1189

HI,
I try to build my program (using some sim manager API) function and run it
on a Smartphone 2003 device and this error occurs:
fatal error C1189: #error: Must define a target architecture
it happens in the winnt.h file.
Does anyone have ideas of this? Kindly help me out.
