error at shutdown

Hi Gang:

Here's one for you! Not every time but often, when I
shut down IE 6, I get the following memory error:

iexplore.exe - Application Error

"The instruction at 0x02582d7c referenced memory at
0x0291ac30. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to
terminate the program."

I click OK and then get

"Error -- Runtime error 216 at 0000207c."

I click OK.

The program and the message both leave. Next time I boot
the program, everything works fine -- until I shut down
again and then MAYBE I'll get the same error.

What's going on? I checked the MS Knowledge Base and
struck out?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Scan the system with Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) and eliminate the
malware products causing the abnormal program termination.
** Update the pattern file using WEB UPDATE feature in Ad-Aware **

If the problem continues, reinstall Internet Explorer using this method:
(XP)
