Error after upgrade to Vista

I did an upgrade form XP to Vista Ultimate. I now get the following error:

can't open kernel mode driver service vista

When I click on it I will get a blue screen and the system crashes.

Please help!

Asus SmartDoctor was causing the problem. After an uninstall of the tool
Vista works hust fine!!
