error after applying tech refresh to sharepoint 07 beta - menu bar

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling clean and all kinds of combinations.
when the time bomb on office went off on the first, it took out sharepoint
designer as well. I don't care about the office side, but they never warned
us it would take out sharepoint as well. After applying technical refresh 2,
to extend product life till we can get a real copy, the menu bar is totally
messed up. Looks like when you try to open a non-word document in word. Has
anyone else delt with this issue?
 
The Beta for Office 2007 is over - I don't think you'll get any help on
this. You can order SharePoint Designer 2007 from Amazon.
