Error ActiveX component can't create object

Hi there. I haven't done anything to reconfigure my IE
6.0, and now it won't open, it only gives me this error
message. I tried looking online for help, but it's all
this technical jargon that I don't understand.

ActiveXcomponent can't creat object 'Internet Explorer
application' Code 800A01AD Source Microsoft VBScript
runtime error Line 3 Char 1.

I could use some help! Thanks
