Error ActiveX Calendar Use (Access97)

I have a calendar ActiveX in two different forms. At first no problem, but
having set the main form for the startup form, I now get the following error
every time I open up the db:

"An error occurred in a call to the Windows Date and Time Picker
control."

I'd prefer to keep the calendar picker, but the error will scare the users
who need to feed the db and generate reports. If I can't make the error go
away, I'll have to have the date typed in.

Any ideas on why the error and how to cure it?

I'd suggest using a form instead of the ActiveX control.
