I am running W2K (SP4 and Outlook XP) and using word as an editor in
outlook. When I try to reply/send messages to users I receive this warning "
A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in outlook. Do
you want to allow this?" How do I get rid of this warning. I have looked for
a patch for this security update but not found yet.

I know what is causing the problem and why the problem is occuring. I was
hoping that Microsoft would realize that there is a flaw in their programming
and introduce a patch to their security settings profile. Thanks for the help
but I was trying to change the security settings within Outlook. I found a
"macro" on a website but it was causing a "unknown error and causing
Microsoft to close".

It's hard to consider a security feature a flaw, especially given that there are ways for legitimate developers to avoid the security prompts.

There are no such security settings within Outlook to change. The ultimate solution lies with the developer of the program that is producing prompts (which are not a new security feature at all).
